For more than 20 years the Norwegian EV Association has been working for the successful introduction of electric vehicles.
Our primary goal is to promote electric vehicles that run entirely or partially on renewable energy. We believe electric cars are the best alternative for personal transport when it comes to the local environment, climate, energy efficiency and economy.
The EV association represents the majority of electric car owners in Norway. We cooperate with the Norwegian government, the electric car industry, and other organisations. We also promote Norway as a best case for electric vehicles policy to Europe and the rest of the world.
The Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association is a non-profit organisation. The members elect a Board of Directors, and 22 employees operate the daily business. The organisation is a member of The European Association for Electromobility (AVERE) and the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA).
